How Telescopic Chutes Work?

Telescopic chutes feature a retractable fully enclosed structure to deliver dust-free, stable and controlled bulk material loading. Composed of multi-layer nested telescopic sleeves, dust sealing components, material sensors and intelligent control systems, the unit automatically extends and retracts based on the vertical distance between the discharge outlet and the receiving container.
During operation, the chute descends until it closely reaches the truck, railcar, ship hold or material stockpile. The sealed telescopic cavity forms an isolated conveying channel, enabling smooth material transfer from silos or conveyor discharge ends to target containers without spillage or splashing. Built-in level sensors continuously monitor the filling status and automatically adjust the chute height and feeding speed to prevent material overflow and accumulation.

The integrated dust sealing structure and reserved dust collection interface contain dust inside the chute during the whole loading process. Dust generated by material falling is suppressed at the source or collected by supporting dust removal systems, achieving simultaneous material conveying and dust control.
