Tanker Loading Spout

Darko tanker loading spout, also widely known as tanker loading bellows, are commonly installed under dust collectors, ash silos and storage silos. They are specially designed for dust-free sealed loading of cement, fly ash, dust ash and other fine dry powder into material tankers.
The loading equipment can interlock with silo feeding equipment and stop automatically when the tanker is full, realizing high-efficiency automatic loading. Adopting a fully enclosed telescopic structure, the whole discharging process is completely sealed to effectively prevent dust emission and material spillage.
With compact structure, smooth material conveying and stable lifting performance, our equipment is widely used in cement, power, building material, chemical and mining industries. It is the ideal professional equipment for environmental-friendly loading of powder and fine granular materials into tankers.
  • Telescopic Stroke: 2000~3000 mm
  • Loading Capacity: 100~200 T/H
  • Suitable Materials: Dry powder, dry ash, cement, dust ash
  • Application Scenarios: Power plant ash silo, cement plant, dust-free loading for dry powder tanker

High-Efficiency Reliable Tanker Loading Spout Solutions

As a professional manufacturer of bulk material handling equipment, Darko’s tanker loading spout and loading bellows are precision-engineered for the sealed, dust-free filling of dry powders and granular materials.
We base our designs on material characteristics, on-site installation space, production capacity requirements and environmental emission standards, tailoring cost-effective tanker loading bag solutions for a wide range of complex operating conditions, thereby effectively reducing the frequency of maintenance and daily operational expenses.
This tanker loading bag is fully compatible with existing ash silos and feeding/conveying systems, and is suitable for all types of enclosed powder tanker loading applications.

High-Efficiency Reliable Tanker Loading Spout Solutions
  • The flexible chute is made of neoprene with Hypalon coating, featuring excellent weather resistance, abrasion resistance and high and low temperature resistance. It is suitable for long-term continuous outdoor and industrial operation with longer service life.
  • Equipped with standard reverse cone and built-in level detection, it automatically senses the full tanker status and lifts slowly, realizing even material distribution inside the tanker and improving loading efficiency.
  • Lifting cables are arranged outside the material flow channel, avoiding cable wear and material blockage caused by material friction, and extending the service life of the whole machine and accessories.
  • Compact overall structure occupies small space, perfectly suitable for limited installation height under silos.
  • Built-in steel inner chute features high rigidity and strong erosion resistance, ensuring smooth material conveying without easy blocking.
  • Complete safety protection system ensures long-term stable and continuous operation of the equipment.
  • Modular and compact design enables flexible on-site installation and convenient daily maintenance.
  • Heavy-duty winch mechanism provides strong lifting capacity with stable and reliable operation.

Working Principle of Tanker Loading Spout

The tanker loading spout is an engineered bulk handling solution designed for the dust-free and efficient transfer of dry solids into tankers, trucks, or railcars. Its working principle centers on a telescopic bellows system that extends to the vehicle’s inlet, creating a sealed connection; as material flows through the internal cones, an integrated dust collection system simultaneously draws displaced air and particulates upward, maintaining a vacuum seal that prevents environmental contamination. By automating the vertical positioning via a motorized winch and level sensors, this loading spout optimizes throughput while ensuring maximum safety and compliance with emission standards in industries like cement, chemicals, and food processing.

Customization Services

Darko offers professional, comprehensive customisation of tanker loading spouts to suit different silo layouts, material characteristics and on-site working conditions.
We customise key parameters including telescopic stroke, inlet diameter, structural thickness and intelligent control configuration. Based on your specific silo dimensions, loading height, powder properties and tanker models, we design a fully bespoke tanker loading spout solution that perfectly meets your bulk material handling and dust-free production requirements.

How does a Tanker Loading Spout prevent dust emissions?
The system utilizes a dual-path design. The inner section (often made of steel cones or a heavy-duty sleeve) guides the material flow, while the outer loading bellows creates a vacuum chamber. When connected to a dust collector, the spout draws displaced air and airborne particulates away from the tanker inlet, ensuring a dust-free loading environment and meeting environmental regulations.
Can Loading Spouts handle abrasive or high-temperature materials?
Yes. Our tanker loading bellows can be customized with specialized materials such as PU-coated polyester for abrasion resistance or silicone-coated fabrics for high-temperature applications (up to 250°C). For extremely abrasive materials like clinker or ores, we recommend internal wearing cones made of Hardox or stainless steel to extend the equipment’s lifespan.
What are the common causes of wear and tear in Loading Bellows?
The most common factors include material abrasion, exposure to harsh UV rays (if used outdoors), and improper alignment with the tanker inlet. Regular inspection of the telescopic bellows for small tears and ensuring the limit switches are correctly calibrated can prevent premature failure and minimize maintenance downtime.
Is it possible to automate the tanker loading process?
Absolutely. Modern tanker loading spouts are equipped with “slack cable” and “level sensors” (such as rotary paddles or vibrating probes). These sensors detect when the material reaches the top of the tanker, automatically stopping the flow and retracting the spout to its home position, which significantly improves loading speed and prevents overfilling.
