Desulfurization Dust Collector
What is Flue Gas Desulfuration?

How Does a Desulfurization Dust Collector Work?
Working Principle of Wet Desulfurization Dust Collector
Flue gas containing SO₂ and dust enters the spray tower via the air inlet. A high-pressure spray system releases alkaline absorbents (e.g., limestone slurry) to form a dense liquid film. When flue gas passes through the film, SO₂ reacts with the absorbent to form soluble sulfates, which are discharged with the slurry. Dust particles are captured by liquid droplets and separated by a demister, producing clean, compliant flue gas. This model delivers ultra-high SO₂ and dust removal efficiency for high-concentration flue gas treatment.
Working Principle of Dry Desulfurization Dust Collector
Key Features of Our Desulfurization Dust Collector

Our desulfurization dust collector achieves ultra-high treatment efficiency, with desulfurization rate up to ≥99% and dust removal rate up to ≥99.9%, thoroughly eliminating sulfur dioxide and particulate matter in flue gas to fully meet strict global environmental emission standards.

Flue Gas Desulfuration Systems
Flue gas desulfuration systems are advanced environmental protection equipment specially designed to remove sulfur dioxide (SO₂) from flue gas emitted by industrial boilers, kilns, waste incineration plants and other facilities. These systems effectively reduce acidic gas pollutants, meet strict national and international emission standards, and play a key role in air pollution control. With stable performance, high desulfurization efficiency and low operating costs, they are widely applied in power generation, metallurgy, cement, chemical and other industries to achieve clean and eco-friendly exhaust discharge.

How to Select the Right Desulfurization Dust Collector?
The selection of a suitable desulfurization dust collector mainly depends on flue gas volume, SO₂/dust concentration, working temperature, installation space and budget. Different working conditions and emission standards require different equipment types, such as wet desulfurization dust collector and dry desulfurization dust collector. Our professional engineers provide free professional selection and customized design services to ensure the equipment fully matches your actual working conditions. We will help you choose the most cost-effective industrial desulfurization dust collector to achieve high purification efficiency, stable operation and long service life.

Wet type features higher desulfurization efficiency (≥99%), suitable for flue gas with high SO₂ concentration, but requires supporting wastewater treatment; dry type realizes zero wastewater discharge with lower operation cost, ideal for flue gas with low SO₂ concentration.
The selection depends on flue gas volume, SO₂/dust concentration, working temperature, installation space and budget. Our engineers provide free professional selection and customized design services.
Desulfurization (FGD) works by introducing a chemical absorbent to react with sulfur dioxide (SO₂) in flue gas. At Darko, our desulfurization dust collector uses either a wet scrubbing system (limestone slurry) or a dry injection process (powdered absorbent) to capture and neutralize SO₂, converting it into stable, non-hazardous by-products for safe disposal or recycling.
