Opening Inverted Cone Design

The inverted cone design specifically refers to the structural form in bulk loading system where the small end of the cone is downward and the large end is upward. It forms the geometric basis of the self-flow discharge system for materials. The core objective is to overcome the limitation of the material’s repose angle and achieve continuous flow without retention or bridging.

  • Double-layer telescopic structure: Composed of an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder. The inner cylinder is equipped with a material-blocking cone, and it is sealed during recovery to prevent dust from flying.
  • Sealing and dust collection: The gap between the inner and outer cylinders is small, and it is combined with a negative pressure dust collection system to reduce dust leakage.
  • Machining treatment: The inner cylinder and the discharge head are made of wear-resistant materials (such as high-chromium cast iron).

  • Wall thickness: The main body wall thickness is generally 10–15mm. In high-wear areas (such as the transition zone of the discharge port), it can be locally thickened to 18–20mm.
  • Discharge size: It matches the interface with the bulk truck. The common discharge port diameter is 500–600mm, with a circular or approximately square cross-section, meeting the fluidization requirements of dry powder materials such as cement and fly ash.

Our bulk loading system is poor in dust collection part. How can we solve this problem?

First, you need to check the fan and filter bags and make sure that their functions are in normal condition. Then, you need to consider it is possible to add an individual dust collector or replacing the current bulk loading system with one that has a larger air volume and better sealing performance.

How long does the installation of the bulk loading system usually take?
