Working Principle of NE Bucket Elevator
The NE plate-chain bucket elevator operates by having the moving components (chains and buckets) circulate around the upper drive sprocket and lower tail sprocket. When powered by the drive unit, the drive sprocket rotates, pulling the traction assembly (plate chains with attached buckets) in a continuous loop.
Loading Phase – Material is fed into individual buckets through the bottom inlet.
Lifting Phase – The loaded buckets ascend vertically within the enclosed casing.
Discharging Phase – At the top, material is ejected from buckets via combined gravity and centrifugal force through the discharge outlet.
Return Phase – Empty buckets descend back to the bottom to repeat the cycle.
