LS-type Screw Conveyor Working Principle
The LS-type screw conveyor achieves continuous material conveying through rotating helical blades: When the motor drives the screw shaft to rotate, materials within the enclosed space formed by the blades and pipe wall are subjected to axial thrust. Simultaneously, internal friction between material particles creates a stable flow layer, enabling directional transportation from the inlet to the outlet. Its unique features include a fully sealed pipe design and variable-diameter/variable-pitch screw structure, which not only prevents dust leakage but also allows adjustment of conveying efficiency according to different material characteristics, with precisely controllable capacity (Q=47×D²×n×ψ×ρ, where D is screw diameter, n is rotation speed, ψ is fill factor, and ρ is material density).
