How to select the type of discharge valve based on the material properties?

It is necessary to clearly define the requirements for material particle size, temperature, corrosiveness and process flow.

Under normal conditions, carbon steel or 304 stainless steel is used; in highly corrosive environments, plastic lining or Hastelloy alloy is adopted.

How to calculate the conveying capacity of the discharge valve?

V=V1×N×60×(1G)×K

V: Discharge capacity volume (m³/h);

V 1​: Volume per revolution of the rotor (L/rev or m³/rev);

N: Rotational speed (rpm);

G: Material density (T/m³) or discharge percentage (in some formulas, it is the filling rate);

K: Correction factor (typically 0.7 – 0.8) or bulk density (T/m³).
