- Chemical & Moisture Resistant
- Lightweight & Flexible
- FDA-Compliant Options Available
Core Functions
Kevlar High-Temperature Air Slide Fabric delivers three core functions: 1) Withstands continuous 400°F/204°C heat while maintaining structural integrity; 2) Enables precise material flow through controlled 5-20 CFM/ft² air permeability for efficient powder conveying; 3) Provides extreme abrasion resistance (5x stronger than polyester) for handling cement, minerals and other abrasive materials. Its unique aramid fiber construction ensures reliable performance in demanding industrial applications like cement plants and food processing.

Working Principle of Kevlar Air Slide Fabric
The working principle of Kevlar high-temperature air slide fabric involves low-pressure compressed air (0.1-0.5 bar) penetrating through the specifically designed air permeability layer (5-20 CFM/ft²) of Kevlar fiber fabric from the bottom air chamber. This fluidizes the powdered/granular materials in contact with the fabric surface, significantly reducing inter-particle friction coefficient. With a 3-10° inclined chute design, the fluidized materials slide smoothly under gravity. The aramid fiber’s unique high-temperature resistance (withstanding continuous 400°F/204°C) and low thermal conductivity (0.04 W/m·K) ensure stable operation in high-temperature environments. This entirely mechanical-drive-free process achieves highly efficient and energy-saving enclosed conveying.

Why Choose Our Kevlar Air Slide Fabric?
🔹 Longer Lifespan – Outlasts polyester and fiberglass fabrics by 3x in high-abrasion applications.
🔹 Energy Efficient – Requires less compressed air due to optimized permeability, lowering operational costs.
🔹 Easy Installation & Maintenance – Pre-cut and pre-stitched options available for quick replacement.
🔹 Customizable Solutions – Tailored weave density, coatings (PTFE, silicone), and reinforcement for extreme conditions.
Kevlar offers:
✔ Higher temperature resistance (up to 400°F/204°C vs. polyester’s 250°F/121°C).
✔ 5x greater tensile strength, reducing wear from abrasive materials.
✔ Longer lifespan (3x more durable in high-wear applications).
✔ Chemical & moisture resistance, ideal for harsh environments like cement plants.
Permeability (typically 5–20 CFM/ft²) depends on:
-
Material density (e.g., cement requires lower CFM than fly ash).
-
Particle size (finer powders need tighter weaves).
-
System pressure. Contact us for free technical support to select the optimal weave.
-
Installation: Pre-cut panels with reinforced edges for easy fitting. Ensure proper tensioning to avoid sagging.
-
Maintenance: Inspect for wear every 6–12 months; replace flaps/seals if abrasion exceeds 10% thickness. Clean with compressed air (no water for non-coated fabrics).
