Working Principle of HL Bucket Elevator
The HL-type centrifugal chain bucket elevator consists of moving components (buckets and traction chains), an upper section with drive sprockets, a lower section with tensioning wheels, intermediate casing, drive unit, and backstop brake device. The buckets are arranged at intervals and employ a “scooping method” for loading materials and a “centrifugal discharge method” for unloading. The traction mechanism of this elevator utilizes two endless circular chains to ensure smooth and efficient vertical material conveying.
Loading Phase: Material evenly enters buckets through bottom inlet
Lifting Phase: Chains carry buckets upward along vertical track
Discharging Phase: Material is ejected at the top by centrifugal force
Return Phase: Empty buckets descend on the other side to complete the cycle
