Flow control gate valves feature
The flow control gate valve is usually used for blending raw materials, cooling clinker, and packaging finished products. This helps customers cut energy use by more than 15% and extends the lifespan of the equipment by three times. Our flow control gate valve uses high-precision pilot control technology. It adjusts the opening through a U-shaped groove or guide valve structure, keeping the material flow error within ±5%. This ensures the stability of material delivery.

By adopting a scientifically designed U-shaped groove structure, the fluid pressure is evenly distributed.This reduces local stress concentration.It also prevents deformation or rupture under high pressure.

The valve core is made of 16Mn steel plated with chromium (10 nanometers) or high-performance wear-resistant material. The core is combined with wool felt or maze-type seals. It can withstand the erosion of cement particles.

We can offer a compact structural design. It supports horizontal or multi-angle installation and is suitable for complex working conditions such as bottom discharge of storage bins and matching with inclined channels.

- The flow control gate valve features a separate sealing chamber and main valve chamber, ensuring absolute sealing of the control interior even during outdoor operations.
- An adjustable radial clearance gasket is placed between the flow control gate core and the housing, ensuring flexibility while preventing medium leakage.
- The high-density felt soft sealing box supports external adjustment of tightness, achieving adaptive compensation for a perfect fit and maintaining zero leakage over the long term.

U-shaped core

Flow Control Gate Valve with Different Driving Methods

The electric actuator of the flow control gate valve can take a 4-20 mA signal. It turns the valve core 71° to adjust the flow area. This gives you a control accuracy of about ±1.5%.
If the power goes out, you can switch to manual operation.
The actuator has limit switches and torque protection built in. You can control it remotely using DCS systems. It also provides real-time updates on the valve position. Plus, it works well with PLC programming adjustments.

Using 0.4-0.7 MPa compressed air as the power source, the pneumatic flow control gate valve is equipped with a rotary cylinder (such as the UK KINETROL) and a 3P positioner. The opening and closing, as well as flow regulation, are controlled via a 4-20 mA signal. In the event of a loss of air supply, a spring return function can be selected to achieve a fail-safe mode (fail-close/open).

The manual flow control gate valve is suitable for simple pipelines where frequent adjustments are not required. By rotating the handle, it drives the valve stem, allowing the valve core to rotate from 0 to 90°. This changes the flow area to control the flow rate. It is equipped with a dial and a locking mechanism to secure the preset opening, preventing flow deviation caused by vibrations.
